Lately, I keep hearing a lot about how the social media damage us. I mean - no doubt we tend to spend too much time browsing, often times throughout very unrealistic profiles and images of people. And we shouldn't forget that we all tend to post just the positive things. This has an impact on our psychology and mental health. If you are interested in reading more about this issue, here is a great study to checkout.


The goal of this article is to promote the good stuff social media of any type offer to us. Benefiting from inspirational content, learning and developing skills or just having fun and discovering new areas of interests. Here some I enjoy so I thought you might as well!




It is hard to realize how powerful our brain is and the impact of treating it well it can have on out daily life. Luckily, people like Kayla are on a mission to remind us. Kayla Barnes is a certified brain health coach and entrepreneur on a mission to assist her clients and community achieve maximum health using science-based and proven methods of Biohacking. Barnes has been featured in Forbes, Thrive Global, Byrdie, BeWell, Biohackers Magazine, and other publications as one of the world's top longevity leaders. Barnes studied nutrition and received training from Dr. Daniel Amen, a renowned brain expert.



Dr. Uma Naidoo is the world's first "triple threat" in the food and medical field, according to Michelin-starred chef David Bouley: she is a Harvard-educated psychiatrist, a Professional Chef who received her culinary school's most prized honor, and a qualified Nutrition Specialist. Her interdisciplinary interests have found a home in Nutritional Psychiatry.

Dr. Naidoo created and manages the United States' first hospital-based Nutritional Psychiatry Service. NUTRITIONFACTS.ORG is a science-based nonprofit organization founded by Michael Greger, M.D. FACLM, that offers free updates on the latest nutrition research through bite-sized videos with, blogs, and infographics. Nearly 2,000 films covering virtually every element of healthy eating are available online, with  videos and blogs being added on a daily basis. Nutrition Facts also use social media to spread fact-based information about the health, disease prevention, mental health, and lifespan benefits of a whole food, plant-based diet. Great for daily dose of health knowledge!



Pick Up Limes


This one is probably my favorite. Sadia is a Nutritionist form Canada, that moved to Netherlands years ago, where she and her spouse developed a blog, Pick Up Limes. A place to share passion in plant-based nutritious food, cooking, and baking. Nourish the cells and the soul became motto of her team that continuous to provide content all over social media. Definitely worth following. You can find countless of delicious recipes, tips and tricks, valuable education of nutrition, and great examples of what leading a balanced lifestyle can look like.
